Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until the way of faith was revealed. Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. – Galatians 3:23-25 NLT
Warrior;

Stop working to Be “Good Enough” and Stand in the Finished Work of Christ. Some of us are still swinging the sword at the wrong enemy. We’re fighting ourselves, wanting to earn what Christ already purchased. We slip back into the old mindset: “If I work harder… if I do A, B, and C… THEN grace will kick in.” That is Judaizer thinking. That is self-righteousness. That is bondage. The Law, the Decalogue, those 10 commandments, was never meant to make us righteous. It was meant to expose our inability, our feebleness, our failure to meet Yahweh’s standard of perfection; Heaven’s requirement is PERFECTION. Only one Man met that requirement. Only one Man became the PERFECT RANSOM. Only one Man fulfilled the Law completely. JESUS. Rule #1 about being a leader is; It is not about you! Warrior, get off yourself. Stop acting like you need to add to the cross. Stop working to supplement the BLOOD OF CALVARY. Stop wanting to improve the sacrifice. We cannot add to perfection- We can only receive it.
Leader, Christ Redeemed Us From the Curse, So Lead Others Into Freedom. Paul says it plainly: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.” (Galatians 3:13) Why? So, the blessing of Abraham could come to the Gentiles. So, we could receive the promised Spirit through faith. So, we could walk in freedom, not fear, not performance, not religious slavery. Religion is man’s attempt to climb up to God. Biblical Christianity is God coming down to man. lifting us, cleansing us, freeing us. Our job is to guard the flock from drifting back into chains. Paul warns: “Make sure you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.” (Galatians 5:1) We lead by reminding people: Freedom is not fragile. Freedom is not earned. Freedom is not maintained by performance. Freedom is secured by Christ and stewarded by the Spirit.
Conduit, Once we are RANSOMED, SAVED, REDEEMED, something supernatural happens: “I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.” (Hebrews 10:16) The Law moves from stone tablets to the human spirit. The commandments move from external pressure to internal desire. The believer begins to develop the mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5). The Holy Spirit becomes the new Guardian, leading us into righteousness (Romans 8:14). This is not behavior modification. This is identity transformation. This is not “try harder.” This is “trust deeper.” And here is the GOOD NEWS; HE is doing the heavy lifting. HE is perfecting the work. HE is shaping Christ in you. “Be confident of this: He who began a good work in you WILL continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6) You are no longer under the guardian of the Law. You are under the guidance of the Spirit. You are no longer striving for perfection. You are standing in the Perfect One. You are no longer trying to earn righteousness. You are living from righteousness. Walk free. Lead free. Live free. And help others step into the freedom Christ purchased. It’s your calling, your commission!
