Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. – Colossians 1:15-17 NLT

Warrior;

What holds all things together, or WHO holds all things together? When I ‘googled’ the question, “What forces hold atoms together?” Vendatu.com, gives this scientific answer- We know that molecules contain two or more atoms.  Thus, the atoms in the molecule have an attraction which holds them together. The force of attraction leads to the formation of chemical bonds.  The basic force that holds all the atoms together in a molecule is known as strong nuclear force. Nuclear forces are the strongest attractive forces that make the molecule exist in nature. Electromagnetism holds the matter together, but there is no proper explanation on how the nucleus is held together in the atoms. If we are going to consider electromagnetism and the gravity, then the nucleus of the atoms won’t be stable. But atoms are stable, which means that there is an existence of another force within the nucleus which is stronger than the gravitational force and electromagnetic force. Wow, it sounds like science can’t yet answer this question.  But the Bible, written thousands of years ago, tells us clearly WHO holds all things together, HE HOLDS ALL THINGS TOGETHER! Did you know that the DNA molecule has the name Yahweh written on it?

Leader, follow the Science. The DNA molecule is a double helix, consisting of 2 major segmented strands that spiral clockwise. These strands are connected by sulfur bridges, like the rungs of a ladder. These bridges are not evenly spaced along the molecule, but they do have a specific pattern. There’s a bridge, then 10 segments later there’s another one. Then 5 segments later another one, then 6 segments another one, then 5 segments later another bridge. This 10-5-6-5 pattern is then repeated over and over again for the entire length of the molecule. When viewed with the Hebrew language, this is particularly interesting. In Hebrew, the numbers 10-5-6-5 correspond to the letters Y-H-W-H, which is the name for God, Yahweh. The God who created our very DNA signed his name in every DNA molecule to let us know that we are His. He created us, and then he signed his name in our very DNA. What’s even more remarkable is that Hebrew is a pictorial language as well. Each letter represents an image or concept. Specifically, the Y represents “Behold”, the H represents “a hand”, and the W represents “a nail.” So altogether, the name YHWH is saying, “Behold the nail in my hand.” Not only is our DNA telling us that we belong to God, but it is telling us who that God is. He is the one with the nail in his hands, the one who died for our sins, he is none other than Jesus of Nazareth, The Messiah. Jesus IS God- see John 1:1-4.

Conduit, Jesus is THE ONE who created us. All things were created BY HIM. Hear the Word of the Lord, “He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him”. (John 1:10) Even at the beginning of creation, when He was creating our DNA, He knew that we would mess up and need a savior. He knew that He would have to come and take the nails in his hands and die for our sins. Before we ever messed up, He was already thinking about how He could redeem us and bring us back home! God is Omniscient, in other words, He has Perfect Knowledge. God cannot learn. Some people say they don’t believe in God, they believe in “science.” But here is science telling us through DNA that we were not only created by God, but that God has a name. Hebrew scholars say YHWH could mean “He exists” or “He causes to be.” English equivalents to this would be “the Ever-Living” or “the Eternal.” God and His name are both everlasting (Psalm 135:13) This God, who causes TO BE, is returning to judge the living and the dead. Hear the Word of the Lord, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2 Peter 3:10) We also know who LOOSES the bonds that stabilize all matter. This is the God we serve! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever. (Psalm 136:1-2) Go and read all of Psalm 136 and rejoice that you are HIS, and HE IS YOURS!
