Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. – Romans 14:10-12 ESV
Warrior;
We need to quit comparing ourselves to other sinners and compare ourselves to the WORD OF GOD! This is our Standard; The Word of God is the followers standard- NOT, The World! We all fall short of the glory of God and we are called to be UNDER CONSTRUCTION. God meets is where we are at, but He loves us too much to leave us there! . We are called to have discernment, but only God has the RIGHT to judge! We are to examine ourselves with the WORD of GOD, not the EYES of the world, or our intent, or others actions! The Word of God is our standard and LIVING the WORD OF GOD is our mission!
Leader, there are two separate judgments. Believers are judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ- the Bema seat. Every believer will give an account of himself, and the Lord will judge the decisions he\she made—including those concerning issues of conscience. This judgment does not determine salvation, which is by faith alone, in Christ alone, by Grace alone! (Ephesians 2:8-9), Yes, believers must give an account of our lives in service to Christ and there are rewards that will be given based on what we did and DID NOT do! The Bible says if we examine ourselves BY THE WORD of God, then God will not judge us! Jesus is the WORD OF GOD!
Conduit, The second judgment is that of unbelievers who will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment. (Revelation 20:11-15). Everyone at the Great White Throne is an unbeliever who has rejected Christ in life and is therefore already doomed to the lake of fire. Revelation 20:12 says that unbelievers will be “judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Those who have rejected Christ as Lord and Savior WILL BE judged based on their WORKS ALONE, and because the Bible tells us that “by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified” (Galatians 2:16), they will be condemned. No amount of good works and the keeping of God’s laws can be sufficient to atone for sin. All their thoughts, words and actions will be judged against God’s perfect standard and found wanting. Today make it your PURPOSE to share the LOVE of CHRIST and REALIZE that we all fall short of the glory of God, we shall have no FAITH in the flesh! Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. – Philippians 2:3-4 Amen!
