Way of The Warrior- A Daily Devotional

The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! – Psalm 33:10-12 ESV

Warrior;

There is so much prayer needed for our Country. In America today, millions of Christians are praying and crying out…” Why Lord, how long will we have to endure this evil”? This is not new, if you read the prophets in the Old Testament, many of their books are filled with cries of injustice, where wicked seemed to win the day, and the prayers of many went unanswered. You are always righteous, LORD, when I bring a case before you. Yet I would speak with you about your justice: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease? (Jeremiah 12:1) Jeremiah grieved over the wickedness of his people and the impending judgment the nation’s sins had provoked. Jeremiah’s warnings went mostly unheeded, and he responded to Judah’s rebellion with tears of mourning (Jeremiah 13:17). Jeremiah is dubbed, “the weeping prophet” because of the often-gloomy nature of his message. He was constantly expressing grief for his people. There was actually a time that Jeremiah was thrown into prison, considered treasonous for delivering God’s Word, which was not favorable to Judah. There were other so-called prophets, that prophesied for the good outcomes that people wanted, but that was not God’s plan, because of their idolatry, the denial of the one true God and because they have left the path that God had placed them on!

Leader, if you do not know that this is exactly where America is, then you have eyes but DO NOT see, you have EARS THAT DO NOT HEAR! Or worse yet, you are so infected by the world, that you have become LUKEWARM. One foot in the world, and one foot in the Kingdom, which really means both feet NOT IN THE KINGDOM! How many supposed “Christians” vote for a party that is pro-abortion, anti-God, sees everything through RACE, keeps a record of wrong and promotes vengeance, retribution, and reparations- where God tells us to forgive and LET GOD be judge! Jesus tells the church in Laodicea, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth” (Rev. 3:15-16). America has been moving away from God clearly for decades. See Jonathan Cahn’s book, Return of the Gods. The removal of the Bible from school, the removal of God from government and the public square, not to mention, the creation of an oxymoron when the Supreme Court found the ‘God given’ right to ABORTION in our Constitution- that was written by men who were followers of the Bible, and some, were students of the Bible. The Democratic party ‘booed’ God, and removed Him from their platform! This is the ‘why’ of our suffering! God is omniscient, He has perfect knowledge, America has been warned for decades that God’s covering will be removed, if we continue to choose the WORLD over the WORD. For 200 + years, the majority of the world has wanted to be like America. But about 20-30 years ago, America started desiring to become like the world! How about you? Are you voting like the world, wanting to be liked by the world, and buying into the world’s “Social Justice”? God is omniscient, it is said we get the government we deserve- we might consider that we are in JUDGEMENT for our transgressions.

Conduit, every day we are getting closer to REVELATION, and CHAOS IS INCREASING! Isaiah knows our pain. What sorrow for those who get up early in the morning looking for a drink of alcohol and spend long evenings drinking wine to make themselves flaming drunk. 12They furnish wine and lovely music at their grand parties—lyre and harp, tambourine, and flute—but they never think about the LORD or notice what he is doing. So my people will go into exile far away because they do not know me. Those who are great and honored will starve, and the common people will die of thirst. The grave is licking its lips in anticipation, opening its mouth wide. The great and the lowly and all the drunken mob will be swallowed up. Humanity will be destroyed, and people brought down; even the arrogant will lower their eyes in humiliation. (Isaiah 5:11-15) You might say, “But that was the Old Testament”. Jesus foretold our dilemma, as well: But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep. “How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes. Before long your enemies will build ramparts against your walls and encircle you and close in on you from every side. They will crush you into the ground, and your children with you. Your enemies will not leave a single stone in place, because you did not recognize it when God visited you.” (Luke 19:41-44) We need to consider, “What’s the solution”? That is simple, NOT EASY, but simple- KEEP READING! Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you. (Psalm 33:20-22) God gives us 2 types of storms, CORRECTING and PERFECTING- the clouds are building, and we are in a storm! God is in control, and God is a God of Justice. “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7) The TIME IS NOW, get right with God! No Jesus, No peace. Know Jesus, know Peace!
