But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth. The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. -2 Timothy 4:17-18 ESV

Warrior;

If Jesus is the WAY that we are supposed to WALK and TALK and TREAT people- based on His incarnate ministry- then AS FOLLOWERS, we are to do WHAT JESUS DID! I have heard it said that Jesus spoke about HELL more than any other preacher in the Bible, and He talked about money, more than any other topic. It is true He spent much time on those subjects but His 2 favorite Subjects to discuss were GOD and the KINGDOM of GOD! Jesus spoke about God, the Father, Himself, and the Holy Spirit more than anything else. In Second place? THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

Leader, the word “kingdom” is a prominent feature of the New Testament. The Greek term is basileia, found roughly 162 times in the New Testament. The exact phrase “kingdom of God” itself does not show up in the Old Testament, although the Old Testament is extremely important in helping us understand what the kingdom is. We first encounter this phrase in the preaching of John the Baptist. In Matthew 3:1-3 we read: In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’” Jesus began His public ministry in Galilee, by preaching about the kingdom of God. The first record we have of His preaching consists of a single sentence: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matt 4:17b).

Conduit, the 13th chapter of Matthew is a CHAPTER of parables and many of them are about the Kingdom of God, and Jesus likens it to many things! The Kingdom of God is like: A man who sowed good seed in his field- Mat 13:24; A mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field- Mat 13:31; Leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal- Mat 13:33. Treasure hidden in a field- Mat 13:44. A Merchant seeking fine pearls- Mat 13:45. A dragnet that was cast into the sea- Mat 13:47. A householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old- Mat 13:52. A certain King who wanted to settle accounts- Mat 18:23. A landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers- Mat 20:1. A certain King who arranged a marriage for his son- Mat 22:2. A man traveling to a far country- Mat 25:14. The Kingdom of God is the RULE, REIGN and AUTHORITY of GOD! Jesus is Himself, the AUTO-BASILEIA! He is the KINGDOM of GOD incarnate! Can I get a witness, then Go share the KINGDOM of GOD and bring people into HIS presence!
