The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. – 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 ESV

Warrior.
This is what is missing in so many who IDENTIFY as Christians, The Mind of Christ. WE are to have THE MIND OF CHRIST. When wanting to figure out, what is the MIND OF CHRIST. There are some deep, theological writings about this subject. The Mind of Christ is a divine seven-fold process of thinking that is bestowed upon each of us the moment we believe and accept Christ into our hearts. “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots [this is Jesus, of course]: and the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, [that is] the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord.” Nancy Missler put it like this: “The Mind of Christ, therefore, is simply a process by the Holy Spirit in which the Word of God in our hearts becomes a living reality in our lives. Simply stated, the Mind of Christ is God’s supernatural Thoughts (Logos) produced in our lives by His supernatural Power (Dunamis)” We are called to be IN THE world, but not OF THE world- This is the HOW, to have the MIND OF CHRIST!

Leader, there are those who will give you a great theological answer of what the MIND OF CHRIST is. Got Questions dot org also gives us a great understanding of what is the MIND OF CHRIST and lays out 5 points to help understand this concept. They note some truths concerning the mind of Christ. If you read the entire 2nd Chapter of 1 Corinthians it lays out the foundation for what Paul says is the MIND OF CHRIST. 1) The mind of Christ stands in sharp contrast to the wisdom of man (v5-6). 2) The mind of Christ involves wisdom from God, once hidden but now revealed (v7). 3) The mind of Christ is given to believers through the Spirit of God (v10-12). 4) The mind of Christ cannot be understood by those without the Spirit (v14). 5) The mind of Christ gives believers discernment in spiritual matters (v15). With all that said, there is one thing that must happen before anyone can attempt to have the MIND OF CHRIST, we must first have the forgiveness of God, the acceptance of the divinity of Christ, the acceptance of the PAID PRICE OF JESUS on the cross! In other words- one MUST HAVE, SAVING FAITH IN CHRIST. (John 1:12; 1 John 5:12) After salvation, the believer lives a life under God’s influence. The Holy Spirit indwells and enlightens the believer, infusing him/her with wisdom—the mind of Christ. The believer bears a responsibility to yield to the Spirit’s leading (Ephesians 4:30) and to allow the Spirit to transform and renew his mind (Romans 12:1-2).

Conduit, when Jesus was with the religious leader Nicodemus and was asked what must a man do to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus was clear. Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:3-6) The apostle Paul, who had the MIND OF CHRIST, put it this way. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) There are a great many words in both Hebrew and Greek that are translated “mind.” In the Old Testament, the word that is often translated “mind” is the word for “heart.” In the New Testament, the Greek word ‘phroneo’ is often translated “mind” and most often refers to a person’s understanding, views, or opinions. “But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. ‘Get behind me, Satan!’ he said. ‘You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns’” (Mark 8:33). It is again Jesus who tells us, shows us and LIVES what He is asking us to do here. So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. “Jesus therefore said, ‘When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me,’” For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. (John 5:19, 8:28, 12:49). To put on the MIND OF CHRIST, is to be BORN AGAIN. To think like Christ; to no longer desire the things of this world, but desire the things of God. In these END TIMES, do you still think like the earth dwellers, being wrapped up in the temporal things of this world? Are you building your Kingdom on this earth or are you building HIS KINGDOM in your life? If you have the MIND OF CHRIST then your desires are the Fathers desires. If you have the MIND OF CHRIST, then you will have the EYES OF CHRIST, the HEART of CHRIST and the DESIRE OF CHRIST; to be about the FATHER’S BUSINESS! Get your HEART ON CHRIST, then you will have the MIND OF CHRIST!
