About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. – Hebrews 5:11-14 ESV

Are you still a BABY in your walk with God? Is God an addendum to your life? Is your worship of the creator of all, and the Creator of your purpose- getting more intimate, structured and biblically based? Is it about a FEELING or a FOUNDATION? Why are you here? For what purpose did God CALL YOU OUT? If you are a chosen child of God, why did He choose you, for WHAT PURPOSE? If you are an AMBASSADOR IN CHAINS, why did God not bring you home, when you were first ACTIVATED IN THE KINGDOM? Babies don’t ask these questions. Babies need constant care, assurance and hand holding. However, the good part of being a BABY is that we are open, want companionship and want to learn, we want to grow up to be BIG BOYS and BIG GIRLS. We constantly ask, WHY DADDY, why Mommy? We seek to understand our world and the machinations and the meanings as we grow into adults. Learning from what we are experiencing and experiencing a growth in knowledge, stature and presence. This is the same process in our walk with Yahweh! Listen my children to the WORD OF THE LORD: “So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good”. (1 Peter 2:1-3) I will ask the question that PETER INFERS-“Have you tasted that the LORD IS GOOD?” Is the Lord your BANANAS, or is He your STRAINED PEAS? If you have not tasted that the LORD IS GOOD, then you probably aren’t asking for more TO EAT! If you are not EATING AT GOD’S TABLE regularly, then you are NOT GROWING IN SALVATION.
Leader, In the Study of Logotherapy we understand that Man is driven by a WILL TO MEANING. All children are meaning makers, so they ask WHY questions, they EXAMINE THEMSELVES in relationship to their world. Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? —unless indeed you fail to meet the test! (2 Corinthians 5:15)Therefore, brothers,[a] be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:10-11) Two of the greatest followers of Jesus Himself, Paul and Peter, both exhort us to EXAMINE OURSELVES! As a healthy CHILD OF GOD, we yearn to know, “WHY DADDY?”. However, the questions are now SPIRITUAL vs TEMPORAL. Too many who call themselves Children of God, refuse to act in the proper way as a CHILD OF GOD should act, but instead they ACT CHILDISH! Wanting what they want, their TRUTH, NOT GOD’s. Their WAY, NOT GOD’s. Their LIFE, NOT GOD’S. Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) Neuro Associative Conditioning posits that there are only 2 driving forces in life. We are either moving TOWARD something or moving AWAY from something. We are either moving toward something we want-PLEASURE, or we are moving away from something WE DON’T want- PAIN. If you are ready TO GROW UP in the faith, then here are some things to STAY AWAY from. When you move AWAY from these things, you will MOVE TOWARD ABBA FATHER, and receive your JUST REWARDS!
Conduit, you CAN NOT have a relationship with God the Father, without a relationship with HIS SON, the BIBLE! In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:1-3) Here are some qualities of babies- the SPIRITUALLY IMMATURE- that should dissipate as we get deeper into an intimate relationship with Yahweh, through HIS SON, JESUS who IS THE BIBLE! Babies are self-centered, only concerned about their own needs being met. They can only handle a limited diet (milk\formula) and have limited understanding. Babies NEED attention to the point of bitterness or envy for the lack of attention, or when attention is focused on others. They live for applause and get upset when upstaged. These spiritual babies squabble. Strife is to be in discord, to squabble. Proverbs 13:10 says, “Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.” When someone refuses to consider another viewpoint and demands his own way, strife results. Someone bent on strife will not allow compromise, negotiation, or humility. Strife alienates friends, divides families, and destroys churches. BARRENNESS-, they bear NO SPIRITUAL FRUIT! If you are a MATURE CHILD OF GOD, then there will be PRODUCE. There will be FRUIT! Follow the FRUIT to the ROOT! The TIME IS NOW, the MASTER will soon be returning for HIS PRIZE! It is time to GROW UP IN THE LORD! Confess; I have been a child in the faith, UP UNTIL NOW. Create in me LORD a HUNGER and a THIRST for more of you, and less of me! I ask this in the precious name of our KING, JESUS! IT IS WRITTEN: When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:11-13) IT IS TIME TO GROW UP IN THE LORD- let go of the world!
