Then a shoot will spring up from the stump of Jesse, and a Branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD. And He will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what His eyes see, and He will not decide by what His ears hear, but with righteousness He will judge the poor, and with equity He will decide for the lowly of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth and slay the wicked with the breath of His lips. Righteousness will be the belt around His hips, and faithfulness the sash around His waist. -Isaiah 11:1-5 BSB

Warrior;

What a beautiful description of the Messiah. He will not judge by what His eyes see, and He will not decide by what His ears hear, but with righteousness He will judge the poor, and with equity He will decide for the lowly of the earth. That sounds a lot like Faith; To believe what the Word says, not what our eyes see, or our ears hear, or our flesh feels. Notice also, here is the EQUITY that people are demanding. Equity is the quality of being fair and impartial. Only God can deliver EQUITY. Jehovah requires perfection and only ONE is PERFECT. Reading and studying the Bible allows for the illumination of the great Mystery that is HIS WORD. The Messiah is called a Rod, and a Branch. The words signify a small, tender product; a shoot, such as is easily broken off. He comes forth out of the stem of Jesse AND the Holy Spirit, in all HIS gifts and graces, shall rest and abide upon Him; He shall have the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in Him (Colossians 1:19; 2:9). The HOLY SPIRIT Shall not only come upon Him at certain times, as it came upon the prophets, but shall have HIS constant and settled abode in Him. Thus, the Messiah should be endowed with these eminent prophetic gifts and qualifications for His ministry by the agency of the Holy Spirit. Many consider that these are the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit as mentioned in the book of Revelations; 1:4,3:1,4:5, 5:6.

Leader, this is a reference to the Holy Spirit and His role as the third person of the sacred Trinity- descending upon Him in the fullness of His influences! The Holy Spirit’s job is to do the WILL of the Father through the hands and feet of His creatures! Jesus was the FIRST BORN of many brethren. It is written: For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (Romans 8:29) TWICE BORN. Jesus is THE EXAMPLE; He is our example, He is the FIRST and we all come after HIM. He is our guide, He is our image, He is our example. When Jesus DECLARED, “I am the way, the truth and the Life…”- Jesus was saying, “I AM your example. As you see me do, you do.” His example is to surrender to our will and let the HOLY SPIRIT produce in us, as in HIM- perfect wisdom, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. Are you more like Christ today, than yesterday? Are you more like Him today, than you were a year ago? Are you standing still, or going in the wrong direction?

Conduit, the term Christian, literally means ‘Little Christ”. God made us in the “god class”. Hear the Word of the Lord, “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.’ So God created mankind in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female.” (Genesis 1:26-27) We are IMAGERS of GOD, we have free will and we are made to create- just like our Daddy, ABBA! In the beginning God created…- our first introduction to God is as CREATOR. Also notice how God is using all our struggles and all our troubles and all the unfairness and all the hardness of life- to make us like His Son, our Savior, our KING JESUS! We are to be working with God to change us into the likeness of His Son, let us let God be God. God will judge the living and the dead, our job- minus the judgment, is to be like Christ. Hear the Word of the Lord; For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.”(Hebrews 10:30) It is time to quit with the DEMAND of JUSTICE, and REMEMBER, That JUSTICE IS THE LORD’S! Let Go and Let God, and then REMEMBER: the same SPIRIT that rose Jesus from the grave LIVES IN US! The TIME IS NOW to ACT AS IF, and LIVE IT!
