Warrior;
Here is our game plan for the new year! These are our MARCHING ORDERS, for this NEW YEAR and for the rest that might come until the RAPTURE of GODS CHURCH. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (Hebrews 11:1, Romans 10:17, Hebrews 11:6) This why Jesus said, “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31b-32) How can we continue IN, that which we are NOT IN?
Leader, In order to have Faith, we must know the Word, the truth of God, and we must STAND on that truth, OBEY the truth; WALK IN THE TRUTH. How are we to walk in the truth if we don’t know the truth, we have no compass. The truth is our COMPASS, it is our DIRECTIONAL DEVICE. The 3rd Chapter of the book of PROVERBS is a great directional device, it is clear instruction on WALKING IN THE WORD and letting it guide you and it begins with this clarity; Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Again, how can we TRUST in that which we DO NOT KNOW?
Conduit, in order to have a successful journey, a profitable NEW YEAR for the LORD we must keep our focus on the LORD and HIS WORD and HIS WAY. So we must do this in accordance with how our vehicle works, our tabernacle, our body\mind\soul machine. The GOOD LORD put the eyes in the front of our face because, ‘We LOOK in the direction we are MOVING, and we MOVE in the direction we are LOOKING’! The apostle Paul affirms this; “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5) In Ephesians 6, he doubles down on this; Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might… that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. We must keep our minds clear of the WORLD’s philosophies and the WORLD’s way. If you look at the first children, CAIN and ABEL, it is so clear they were given a WORD FROM GOD. Cain was the first to bring HIS WORKS-the world’s way, before the LORD, and ABEL followed the WORD OF GOD; Bible scholars believe that Cain and Abel had received some instruction on what constituted an acceptable sacrifice from God. Hebrews 11:4 says, “By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts; We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother’s righteous. (1 John 3:12). Without Faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God and it is impossible to have the profitable NEW YEAR, God has planned for you in ADVANCE! Trust in the LORD, KNOW HIS WORD, STAND ON THE TRUTH of HIS WORD!
