But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.” So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. ”- Matthew 28:5-9 ESV
Warrior;
Now that Christ has Risen…what do you do with HIM and with yourself? What difference does it make that CHRIST has risen? Does it impact your life, beyond EASTER SUNDAY? Now that you have RISEN with HIM, what is your PURPOSE? Now that we have been SAVED, it is time to SERVE! GOD is a purpose driven ABBA, He has a reason for everything. The prophet Isaiah reminds us of the chasm of reason between us and God: “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)
Leader, the time is now to ENJOY, ENCOUNTER and EMULATE the Risen Christ. The lyrics of the great hymn, ‘Enjoying the Risen Christ’, is the only way to bring Glory to God and JOY to the slave! “I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today; I know that He is living, Whatever men may say; I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, And just the time I need Him He’s always near. He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and He talks with me Along life’s narrow way. He lives, He live, salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives: He lives within my heart.” Now that we ROSE with JESUS it is time to let JESUS LIVE through us. My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
Conduit, it is that knowledge, that CHRIST is guiding, living, working His will and HIS way through me, that I can truly find the PEACE of God that surpasses all understanding! “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.” (Psalm 94:19) If you are LIVING for CHRIST, then this world is DYING to STOP YOU! Peter told us this clearly; Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12) As you face your own challenges in life, always keep in mind that Jesus has the power to fix any problem you’ll ever come across. Before you jump in and make things worse by taking matters into your own hands, remember the story of Peter! (John 18:10-11) The next time you’re tempted to “grab a sword and start swinging,” take a few minutes to remind yourself that Jesus can handle the problem without your intervention. Before you do anything else, pray and ask the Lord what you are supposed to do. Then after you receive your answer and follow His instructions, just watch His supernatural power swing into action to solve the dilemma you are facing! No shared Glory!
