Have you ever felt like this? Like the world is falling down around you? Have you ever been walking with God so deeply and yet nothing in the WORLD is going well? You must beg your brothers and sisters for help and the help they give you is condescension, and a WORD FROM them, that they profess is from GOD? A word that implies or states; you are NOT ENOUGH, you struggle because you must be living in SIN, you must be doing something wrong- unlike them who is doing everything right? This is POOR THEOLOGY! It is written; But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5:44-45)
Leader, if you are FLESH, if you are a huMAN, then you are a sinner! for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good–except God alone. “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? (Romans 3:23, Mark 10:18, Jeremiah 17:9) The FALSE GOSPEL says that if your life is going well in this world, then you are doing well with God. And if your life is struggling in this WORLD, then GOD IS DISAPPOINTED IN YOU! But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.” (Matthew 16:23)
Conduit, only by KNOWING the WORD of GOD can you resist the flaming arrows of the great deceiver when he speaks through those who claim to be GOD’s CHILDREN. This is a belief that many in the church have but would not admit. They are steeling GODS GLORY, accepting the blessings as payment that they earned through their good works. Because of this LIE, they put their resources in the BANK, in envelopes and in future vacations- instead of investing in the lives and souls of those who God has put in their path to bless! If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God. (1 John 3:17-19) What did Jesus do wrong? Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” (Matthew 8:20) What did the apostles who were all violently killed, except for John- do wrong? What did Isaiah do wrong, to be sawed in half in a log by Manasseh? This is the most self-serving, RELIGIOUS lie that there can be – except for claiming Christ did not die on the cross. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41) So the trouble is not with the law, for it is spiritual and good. The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin. I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. (Romans 7:14-15) Be doers of GODS WORD and not just HEARERS- Be a CONDUIT, not a CISTERN. Amen!
