This is what Pastor Trey Graham calls a ‘Watershed’ moment. A watershed is a turning point, or historic moment. It is an event marking a unique or important historical change of course or one on which important developments depend. We are just 3 pages into THE Book, the Bible and it seems like things go bad. The question must be two-fold: 1st, “Was God surprised”? And 2nd, “What does this mean to us, today, as we work our way through our own journey with God”?
Leader, God is immutable- He does not EVOLVE, He does NOT CHANGE! He tells us that in Malachi 3:6, see also Numbers 23:19. God is also OMNISCIENT, He is ALL-KNOWING; He is a KNOW IT ALL, HE cannot LEARN. HE knew IT ALL, before the beginning of Time. Omniscience is defined as “the state of having total knowledge, the quality of knowing everything.” For God to be sovereign over His creation of all things, whether visible or invisible, He has to be all-knowing. ELOHIM created Lucifer knowing He would commit CREATION’S first Sin; You were determined to climb up to heaven and to place your throne above the highest stars. You thought you would sit like a king on that mountain in the north where the gods assemble. (Isaiah 14:13)
Conduit, 1 John 3:20 tells us; Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything. God created ADAM knowing He would sin and He would send His Son, Jesus to die for the redemption of MAN. What does this mean for us? Here is a great tragedy that God used as a WATERSHED moment. A GREAT FALL, that becomes what ALL OF HUMANITY is about! Today, no matter how bad you have messed up, know that GOD KNEW IT, GOD LOVES YOU, HE ACCEPTS you where you are at- BUT HE DOESN” T LEAVE YOU THERE! Remember Romans 8:28; God works all things for the GOOD of those who love Him and called according to HIS PURPOSE. When you screw up just tell the DEVIL; “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position, so I could save the lives of many people.” (Gen 50:20) It is time to GET BACK TO THE GARDEN and EAT OF the TREE OF LIFE!
