At the Oscar’s there are battles between which privileged Black man was a victim and which was a persecutor. There are battles between the sexes and between the preferences. There are battles between the Red Team and the Blue Team. Battles in our grocery stores and at our gas stations, and in our cities. We battle at the ballot box. We battle between the old self and the new self. With so much war being waged we might overlook the base of the battles- which is our beliefs. The real battle is for our belief systems.
