And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” – Luke 18:6-8 ESV
Warrior;
Our hope as Christian’s should be solidified with a proper understanding of eschatology, or the science of last things. Merriam Webster defines eschatology as; a branch of theology concerned with the final events in the history of the world or of humankind. A belief concerning death, the end of the world, or the ultimate destiny of humankind specifically: any of various Christian doctrines concerning the Second Coming, the Rapture, or the Last Judgment. When we get to our house, we know we are home because of the familiar surroundings. The environment or the neighborhood, what our home looks like, our stuff is there…. As the Time of the Gentiles comes to a close, we should know what our neighborhood looks like, when things are getting close to us getting home. Jesus Himself said, “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Matthew 21:25-28)
Leader, “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door.” (Matthew 24:32-33) Jesus is returning for his bride soon, we must be ready! Look up, for our redemption is near. In the immortal words of the hymn written by Helen H Lemmel; “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.” Everything that is happening in the world, and in His church shows you that His time is near, we should be looking up for our Messiah, not a savior of the world, not some politician or some revival, but for our departure. Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared. (1 Timothy 4:1-2) This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. (2 Peter 3:1-7) Does any of this sound familiar? This is a picture of today’s church on this earth. It is compromised, it is broken, it is secular, and it wants the world to LIKE IT. LOOK UP!
Conduit, But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men. (2 Timothy 3:1-9) There will be a great revival on this earth, but it will be in the GREAT TRIBULATION. When all HELL breaks loose, people always turn to God! Revelation 7:9-17 gives us a beautiful picture of the Great Revival during the Great Tribulation. Hear the Word of the Lord; “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” The Church is in a great apostasy. How many ‘Prophets” predicted Trump would win a second term? People believing their own visions over God’s Word. The church is into Critical Race Theory, Reparations, Black ‘victimhood’, homosexual acceptance. How can such a broken church be in a position to bring in a billion souls, when it can’t even follow\understand the WORD OF GOD? Nothing needs to happen before the RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH- LOOK UP! Pastor J.D. Farag so eloquently stated the problem with this mistaken desire for the REVIVAL, versus the RAPTURE. J.D says that God is judging this dark world. And He is doing so, so people will let go of the world- especially His people, and follow Jesus as the Light of the World. He goes on to say, “Christians are still holding out hope in this world. Which has the affect of delaying, even dismantling any urgency concerning the Lord’s soon return- His removal of THE CHURCH! Look up, look for the Messiah! Stop looking for a political savior, don’t look for the Antichrist- LOOK UP FOR JESUS!
