We need to keep our geography right! We need to know WHERE WE ARE in relation to CHRIST! If we don’t where we are at, then how will we ever get to where we are going? If you take a GPS device into your home and type in the address you want to get to, there can be times when the device will NOT be able to give you directions. You might ask why, if I know where I want to go, then why can’t it give me directions? Because if the satellite can’t locate you, then it doesn’t matter how clear your destination, it can’t give you directions! It must know what our starting point is in order to give us directions to where we want to go. Do you know WHERE YOU ARE, in relation to Jesus Christ? How can you get where He wants you, where He planned for you to be?
Leader, God has blessed us! WE bless HIM because He first blessed us. We bless Him with our LIPS, we bless Him with our HEARTS and we bless HIM with our hands and feet- those things we do to HIS GLORY. What does blessed mean? The word has in in the thought of happiness and joy; God is happy and joyful for He has a way to bless us- in the form of JESUS the CHRIST! These blessings are NOT WITH CHRIST, they are IN CHRIST! He has blessed us IN the heavenly’s, IN CHRIST. We put our FAITH IN Christ, not with CHRIST. Do you see how important this preposition is? Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. (John 15:4) This is a symbiotic relationship, the two become one; they are IN each other! I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
Conduit, when Moses had died, and Joshua was now leading the Israelites, they were ready to cross over the JORDAN into the promised land GOD told JOSHUA clearly: Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses. (Joshua 1:3) GOD WAS WITH THEM! When we become ONE with CHRIST, we are WITH HIM, IN HIM- in other words wherever HE GOES, we go! Wherever WE GO, CHRIST IS IN US, so HE GOES! It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. (1 Cor 1:30) Christ has been made unto US. He has been made Sanctification, Justification- we can’t DO IT, because CHRIST HAS BEEN MADE these things FOR US! When we come to CHRIST we get everything from HIM! It is the WILL OF GOD, that we have GRACE and PEACE from God and with GOD and that we have ALREADY received all the SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS! If Christ is in the throne room of GOD and we are IN CHRIST, we too are IN THE THRONE ROOM OF GOD! “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16) Today, ACT AS IF, you are IN CHRIST and experience HIS GRACE, HIS MERCY, HIS PEACE and be LIKE JESUS, and share it with others! Amen.
