If NO MAS= no more, then CHRIST MAS = MORE CHRIST. The meaning of the word, CHRISTMAS is MORE CHRIST. No wonder the world has a tough time saying, MERRY CHRISTMAS, and instead wants you to have a HAPPY HOLIDAY. Because the WORLD wants NO MAS CHRIST. What about you WARRIOR, this DECEMBER 25th- do you want MORE gifts, MORE money, and more fame or do you really want MAS CHRIST?
Leader, John the Baptist and Paul the Apostle never celebrated CHRISTMAS on DEC 25th with a TREE and LIGHTS, but both gave their life to have CHRISTMAS, MORE CHRIST. In His letter to the church in Philippi Paul put the value of MORE STUFF verses MORE CHRIST! But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. (Phil 3:7-11)
Conduit, as you enjoy the day with your family, friends and faith may you consider HOW MUCH MORE CHRIST are you willing to DESIRE, COMMIT to and SEEK! Dear Heavenly Father, today as we commemorate the day of incarnation of CHRIST the SAVIOR, please stir in our hearts a HUNGER and a THIRST for CHRISTMAS all year long. Let us DESIRE MORE CHRIST and LESS OF THE WORLD and OUR FLESH! We ask this in the precious name of our Risen Lord, Jesus the CHRIST! Today, tomorrow and through the NEW YEAR- make MERRY as you seek CHRISTMAS! Amen!
