Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ – Matthew 25:41-45 ESV

Warrior;
It is appointed to man to DIE ONCE and then be JUDGED. (Hebrews 9:27) There are sins of Commission and sins of omission. Things we did, that we should NOT have done, and things we WERE TO DO, but we chose NOT to do. Everything we have: our money, our time, our gifts, our talents, our family, our pain- is from God and will go back to God. It is ALL HIS, not 10%, but 100%. Are you treating God’s stuff like it is your stuff and storing it away in your envelopes? Are you securing your future, while your brother and sisters are struggling to survive? God says this is ME struggling, this is ME who can’t pay the bills, this is ME that needs a loan, or needs some MERCY, some GRACE, some of that money that DAVE RAMSEY has you putting away so you OWE NOBODY, NOTHING? JESUS paid IT ALL- ALL to Him I owe!

Leader, James was clear; What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (James 2:14-17) John was clear as well: We know what real love is from Christ’s example in dying for us. And so we also ought to lay down our lives for our Christian brothers. But if someone who is supposed to be a Christian has money enough to live well, and sees a brother in need, and won’t help him—how can God’s love be within him? Little children, let us stop just saying we love people; let us really love them, and show it by our actions. Then we will know for sure, by our actions, that we are on God’s side, and our consciences will be clear, even when we stand before the Lord. (1 John 3:16-19)

Conduit, Commitment is defined as a willingness to give your time and energy to something that you believe in, or a promise or firm decision to do something. Are you more committed to your own preservation and financial freedom, than you are to GODS WILL, GODS WORD and GODS people? Most people’s security is in their finances-not the LORD. Financial independence is a way to not be a slave to anybody or anything- but it should NOT be our first LOVE, nor our NUMBER 1 GOAL IN LIFE. We get so wrapped up in ourselves and our vacations, and our pretty houses, our 401K’s and our DISNEYLAND vacations, and we justify by saying that this will allow us to serve God better as many around us struggle to GET THROUGH the night, or the week, or the month. It is time to check your heart…WHAT IS YOUR FIRST LOVE? Are you a cistern- storing things up? Or are you a CONDUIT- using God’s blessings for God’s glory? God’s economy= God’s people, using God’s resources, for GOD’s people, FOR GODS GLORY! Put your envelopes aside and lay down your financial life for your brother- there is no greater love, CHRISTIAN!
