By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. Faith requires a GAP! Without a GAP, there is NO FAITH! Many who call themselves followers of Jesus have their security in their Job, their Bank account, their Family, their RICH BEST FRIEND, or their own gifts, talents and strength. 1 Corinthians 1:27, ESV: “But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;” If you could do it without God, there is NO FAITH required. To God, Faith=Glory.
Leader, It takes NO Faith to believe that 2 +2 =4. It does take Faith to uproot your entire family and head out without knowing where you are going. It takes NO FAITH to hold onto whatever money you have, instead of helping someone in need, because you have a budget, and you might not have enough for your retirement or planned vacation. It does takes faith to spend 100 years building an ark, in a desert, when it had NEVER RAINED before, and preach about the end of the world. When it rained 40 days and 40 nights, God recurved- MUCH GLORY!
Conduit, when we are in the flesh then we do as ‘earth dwellers’ do. (Rev 3:10) However, when we are in the SPIRIT and GOD IS OUR PROVISION, when we truly treat HIM as JEHOVAH JIREH and we depend on HIS PROVISION, HIS VISION, then the world will mock us, put us down and even ‘believers’ will join in the chorus. We must DECIDE who we are here to please; Man or GOD? It is impossible to please GOD WITHOUT FAITH! Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. Amen!
