“Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”- Luke 18;10-14 ESV
We must Quit elevating ourselves above others and thinking we are better than others because God has blessed us with a Job, a good family and health! The original sin was NOT Adam in the Garden, it was Lucifer in the Heavens! Pride and Ego are to be our enemies. Yet, many have befriended them and bought into their lies! It is grace alone, through faith alone, through Christ alone, to the glory of GOD ALONE! No shared glory!
Leader, I pray that we all End our relationship with PRIDE and SELF-JUSTIFICATION! Nobody can be GOODNUFF to enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. Heaven requires PERFECTION- that is why we are to PUT ON JESUS and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS! (Romans 13:14) when we believe on Christ, we get His standing before our Father! God made him who had no sin(A) to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.(2 Corinthians 5:21) All glory to God, no shared glory!
Conduit, For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law—I stopped trying to meet all its requirements—so that I might live for God. My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.(Galatians 2:19-21) We are not saved by works, but by grace so no one can boast. However we are saved unto good works! God saved you and now is sending you out to share the Good News and save others! The time is short, and the Time is now!
