The LORD saw that the wickedness (depravity) of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually. The LORD regretted that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was [deeply] grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will destroy (annihilate) mankind whom I have created from the surface of the earth—not only man, but the animals and the crawling things and the birds of the air—because it [deeply] grieves Me [to see mankind’s sin] and I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor and grace in the eyes of the LORD. (Genesis 6:5-8) Amp

This is the reason that we celebrate Christmas, this is the NEED of a savior, this is why no matter what we receive, or don’ t receive, at Christmas- If you have accepted the work of the Cross and our Lord, who committed to do it- you have received the greatest gift of all.  Let’s be honest not much has changed! All one has to do is read the headlines in the newspaper, or look at our political process and if God could be surprised- He would be!

Leader, Jeremiah 17:9, says it so clearly; “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? That is from the New Living translation, another translation says, it is desperately sick; who can understand it? Another says, “it is without cure”. Jeremiah is called the “weeping prophet”, he is considered one of the major prophets-because God revealed MAJOR things to him. It is believed that Jeremiah authored the Book of Jeremiah, the Books of Kings and the Book of Lamentations. He was called this because he continually wept for Gods people More than any other prophet Jeremiah expressed grief at the unrepentant and stubborn nature of his people. He also saw the coming judgment and grieved over the great disaster this was to be for the nation and the destruction, heartache and pain and death involved.

Conduit, we need to truly understand our condition, until we know how sick, how depraved we are by NATURE, we will never seek the Savior we so desperately need. When Jesus walked incarnate with us, He alluded to the same fact: “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone” (Mark 10:18). Was Jesus denying that He is God? Jesus’ response was used to point out the true condition of the man’s heart and the reality that Jesus is divine. In today’s political climate Christians are being conflicted to support a sinful man, Trump for president, as others- who despise our God and our Bible- want to use THE WORD, to tell you to vote for them.  No matter who you vote for in the election, you will vote for a sinner, a broken person, someone who needs a savior- like you and I.  “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”(Romans 3:23) The Bible tells us what society will be like in the end times, ‘What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever’. (Isaiah 5:20) If you are going to vote then vote for someone who knows they are a sinner and who works to defend the people of God and the nation of Israel.  Who cares what we want- we should do what God wants.  Remember the original deceiver was Satan in the Garden when He wanted to confuse God’s people; “Did God really say…?” (Genesis 3:1) Beware of young, good looking candidates for in that same verse God told us; Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. Sound the Trump and understand HIS WORD, and deny YOUR WILL- quit letting other people use God’s Word, to encourage you to vote the way the world wants you to!
