Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. -2 Cor 3:12-4 ESV

Do you have HOPE? Does your HOPE- fed by the understanding that comes from seeking God’s WILL and God’s WAY through God’s WORD- make you BOLD? When Christ conquered the grave and DEATH LOST HER STING-to those that BELIEVE-cling to NO OTHER HOPE- the VEIL in the temple was torn. (Matt 27:50) It was torn both LITERALLY in the TEMPLE and it was TORN figuratively in the HEARTS of those WILLING to BELIEVE that God the FATHER raised Jesus- God the Son- from the dead!

Leader, When CHRIST is our FIRST LOVE, we can turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there we are—face-to-face! We suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. We have access to God the Father, through the saving mercy and Grace of His Son, Jesus the Christ!

Conduit, when God is personally present, a living Spirit; JEHOVAH SHAMMAH- then that OLD, constricting LAW, legalism and religion DIES. In a personal relationship we’re free from the chains and the coldness of the law! There is now, Nothing between us and God- our faces shining with the brightness of HIS GLORY. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become MORE like him. Amen!
