Salt is good, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is of no use either for the soil or for the manure pile. It is thrown away. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” -Luke 14:34-35 ESV

Warrior;

Just like salt was created with a PURPOSE, so were you! Salt has 4 purposes; Preservative, Purifier, Seasoning and it is an enticement to drink-it makes people thirsty. We are called to be salt and light to the World! (Matt 5:13-16) God uses these Metaphors so that He can give His children a fuller understanding of what our purpose is.

Leader, we can make an honest evaluation of HOW WE ARE doing, by looking at these 4 USES of salt in our daily life as Christ’s Ambassadors in chains! Are you a Cleansing-agent-separating good from the bad? Are you an Encourager of the brethren? Do you help sustain people and preserve them for their journey on the NARROW PATH? Do you add FLAVOR to others lives? Are you a blessing to those who are in your restaurant- do you make their lives taste better? And lastly, do you make people thirsty for more? Does your passion for God and HIS WORD create a HUNGER and a THIRST in others to know more of the MYSTERY through digestion of HIS WORD and your WALK?

Conduit, if being SALT were a crime, would there be enough evidence for a jury of your peers to convict you? Salt is excellent. But if the salt goes flat, it’s useless, good for nothing. Remember your excellent purpose and get SALTY with it!
