Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD, “I remember concerning you the devotion of your youth, The love of your betrothals, Your following after Me in the wilderness, Through a land not sown.

-Jer 2:2 NASB

Warrior;

The scope of Jeremiah Chapter 2 is to show God’s people their transgressions- it is all by way of reproof and conviction, that they might be brought to repent of their sins and so prevent the ruin that was coming upon them. The charge drawn up against them is very high, the sin charged with here is idolatry, forsaking the true God, their own God, for other false gods. Where have you done the same?

Leader, God is NOT ready to judge yet, we are in the dispensation of GRACE. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. God is not wanting to make anybody feel GUILTY, that is from the Father of Lies. God wants to convict us of being on the wrong PATH, and CONVINCE us to get on- or BACK ON, HIS Path; the NARROW path. Conduit, when it comes to God, “good is the enemy of the best”. In Revelation 2, Christs first letter to the Ephesian church, He stated His first charge against the church; “You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!”

Conduit, when we journey on the road of DESPERATION- with God as our focus, we eventually get to the place called DEPENDENCE! When God becomes our primary need, our main focus, our deepest need- He AGAIN becomes our FIRST LOVE! I pray that God makes you dependent on HIM so you can FALL IN LOVE with HIM all over again! Turn back to HIM and do the works you did at first. Desire Him daily!

  1. I am thinking of how the words Trust & Dependence seem to work together for me. I have been trusting God has birthed a vision in my spirit. I have been depending on Him to train me, guide me & provide what is needed to see the outcome (fulfillment) of this vision. In order to stay committed to this vision I have had to trust God.

    So my trust has been stretched and by putting me in positions in which I could not move on my own, I have become dependent on Him. 💡 lightbulb moment. Thank you Me Black!
