Throughout the Pentateuch-1st 5 books of Bible- there is constant instruction, provision and laws to guide a sinful, yet redeemed people in their relationship with a Holy God. There is an emphasis in Leviticus on the need for personal holiness in response to a Holy God. Rom 6:23 tells us firmly that SIN has a COST – BLOOD! Sin must be atoned for through the offering of proper sacrifices. The shedding of blood ATONED, covered, SIN. Blood would pay the PRICE and allow a sinful man to walk with a Holy God! However, no animals’ blood can REMOVE sin; For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. (Heb 10:4)

Leader, JESUS is THE WAY – the NEW COVENANT; Jesus In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood.(1 Cor 11:25) Jesus blood REMOVES our SIN and in sin’s place we have HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS- HIS right standing before God! William Dean Howells said, “The conqueror is regarded with awe; the wise man commands our respect; but it is only the benevolent man that wins our affection.

Conduit, Jesus, IS the ONE, and HE is ALL THREE! He is GOD and man; He deserves our reverence and AWE, our RESPECT and our AFFECTION. This is why Jesus WILL ONLY be our FIRST LOVE! HE poured himself out- Heart, Body and Soul so you could too! Follow His lead and LOVE! For God so loved the world- He did something about it;JESUS!(Jn 3:16). How about you?
