This is the first of 5 covenants that the GOD made with the WORLD, with all of mankind.  A COVENANT is a PROMISE, it is a VOW, it is a guarantee.  Of the 5 Covenants; The Flood, Abrahamic, Davidic, Mosaic and the NEW COVENANT- 4 are NON-conditional and 1 is conditional.  God’s unconditional covenants require no human dependence.  God will NEVER allow the waters to destroy the earth- so quit worrying about the melting of the POLAR ICE CAPS and believing the LIE OF THE WORLD!

Leader, Unconditional covenants in the Bible consist of three elements: 1- they come from God alone, they are divine! 2- they are ETERNAL, they cannot be revoked. 3- They are undeserved, they are by GRACE alone! The covenant of the flood was a temporal covenant, to deal with the physical world, the others were SPIRITUAL covenants that are ETERNAL. The MOSAIC covenant was of THREAT and DEATH. The others were of PROMISE and of LIFE.

Conduit, Galatians 3:13-14 confirms to us; Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. The Law of Moses was conditional, NOT eternal and NOT gracious!  But the promises of Abraham, David and Jesus are Gracious, ETERNAL and dependent ONLY on GOD!  All we must do is have FAITH alone, in GRACE alone, through CHRIST ALONE!
