And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was reclining at table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment.- Luke 7:37-38 ESV

If you and this sinful woman was standing in the presence of God; which one of you would He be MORE PLEASED with? Perhaps there is no New Testament personality that has been more misrepresented than ”Mary called Magdalene.” She has often been identified as the sinful woman who knelt and kissed the feet of Jesus in this passage She has been called a prostitute. And yet she was FIRST at the Tomb of Jesus (Mark 16:9) and LAST at the CROSS (John 19:25).

Leader do you have the ZEAL for the Lord of Mary? Once Mary was set free, her life belonged to the One who had changed her life. Her changed life resulted in a Grateful Heart which caused her to have a changed life, a committed life. Mary also had a grieving heart; Her love was DOUBTLESS. Others forsook Him, abandoned Him in tough times. Her love was NOT fickle- but faithful. Her love was NOT conditional, it was CONSTANT. She loved the Lord with all her Heart, mind and Soul and it SHOWED till the end!

Conduit, we need to remember Mary and Rahab and others that the WORLD thought was trash, but God made them a treasure through their LOVE for HIM! Make Jesus your FIRST LOVE; for He set you free, you were blind, but now you see. He washed your sins away and now you are FREE!
