And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. -Mark 16:6-8 ESV

Warrior;

It is important to know and believe that the WORD of God is what it says it is! From the earliest manuscripts, we know that this is where the book of Mark ends. Man has a tendency to feel the need to help God out and sugar coat things, or maybe make a better ending. Early church leaders felt that Mark ended a bit abruptly and so there MUST BE a missing ending.

Leader, Mark’s Gospel is like a newspaper article; short, to the point, very few didactic sections. It’s the story and it’s quick and it’s fast. The most common word is immediately and that is how it ended. They went out , they fled from the tomb, why? Because they were trembling, they were astonished, they were silent and they literally fled in this bewildered amazement,-trembling; tramos, where we get the word trauma, astonishment, ekstasis, a kind of out-of-body experience, that kind of ecstasy. That’s how Mark ends his Gospel!It’s abrupt, it’s shocking-  so man felt the need to help God, and find the “missing ending”.

Conduit, preach and teach the word of God as it is, not as the world would like it to be!
