I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Jesus loves us so much that He put a yearly evaluation in the Bible. A place where He tells us what we are doing well, and what we need to work on to be the BEST POSSIBLE US! No matter how much we do, if Jesus is NOT the LOVE OF OUR LIFE, then He is going to have a problem with our HEART. 

 Leader, we can get so focused on legalism, or self-righteousness that sometimes our FAITH takes on a mechanical form that contains all they symptoms of being a Christian, but lacks the internal passion to STIR our hearts and move our mouths for GOD! 

Conduit, when we focus on FORM instead of RELATIONSHIP we can become comfortable with the HOLY instead of AWED by HIM. We become insensitive to the Holy Spirit, and thus become dulled to the small sins that distract us and we can become content with what\where WE ARE, instead of being driven to become more like Christ. But, worse yet, we can LOVE something (LIFE, success, money, security, our lot in life) or someone (spouse, child, our marriage)- more than we love Christ. Today, remember where GOD met you, and REMIND yourself of what you did, when you first FELL IN LOVE with Jesus, and do it again!
