For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens; who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son, made perfect forever. – Hebrews 7:26-28 NAS

Warrior;

I am sure you have heard the statement about the Bible having 2 different Gods.  The God of the OLD TESTAMENT is intimidating, judgmental and ‘Religious’.  But the God of the NEW TESTAMENT is forgiving, and willing to love everybody no matter what they do. God does NOT CHANGE! “I am the LORD, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed. (Mal 3:6) GOD is immutable, He is the first and last, the Alpha and Omega, nothing was before Him, and there is NO- after Him!

Leader, the OLD agreement was the SHADOW- a foretelling- and the NEW, BETTER COVENANT is the Substance- the FULFILLMENT! God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? (Numbers 23:19) There is only ONE GOD, and ONE WORD, and that is the BIBLE, and HE IS JESUS! The OLD covenant pointed to HIM and the NEW agreement, is about HIM and PAID for- by HIM- in FULL!

Conduit, 500 years before the incarnate Jesus, Isaiah got the WORD from God; By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: ‘To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.” “Only in the LORD, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and be ashamed all who were incensed against him.(Is 45:23-24) For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. (John 1:17-18) Spend time reading and understanding the WORD of God because God told us; “Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear”.
