Then the king commanded, and Daniel was brought and cast into the den of lions. The king declared to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, deliver you!” And a stone was brought and laid on the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords, that nothing might be changed concerning Daniel. Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; no diversions were brought to him, and sleep fled from him.  -Dan 6:16-18 ESV

What an interesting struggle.  Both men wanting to do what was right for their God! Daniel, serving His God-Yahweh, Jehovah.  The king was serving His God, the world, his personal kingdom.  What was right for Yahweh, was wrong for the world.  What was right for his kingdom, missed God’s mark, it is called SIN!

Leader, how are you doing?  When Daniel was being escorted to the lion’s den, He was in the hands of God.  On the outside it looked like he was in big trouble, that God had abandoned him.  Daniel refused to believe the deception of his fleshly eyes, ears and feelings.  He trusted in the Lord of Hosts! What\WHO, do you trust in?  Do you trust in your flesh, your feelings, and what your eyes, ears and experience tell you?  Or do you trust in the WORD of GOD, and BELIEVE what the BIBLE says when it differs from what the temporal is telling you?

Conduit, when you walk with God, like Enoch, Daniel, Abraham, Moses, Shadrac, Meshac and Abednego then you are IN THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD! The prophet Isaiah told us that No weapon formed against us will prosper .  Paul Himself in 2 Cor 12:8-9 tells us,  Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”.  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. What others plan for evil, God will use for HIS GLORY and our Good! What can man do to you in HIS MIGHTY HANDS, that is outside of His WILL? Walk in that PEACE, that surpasses all understanding!
