For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. -2 Tim 1:6-7 ESV
Warrior;
Fear is NOT our enemy. Fear can be a strong motivator or a brutal captor. Researchers posit we are born with 2 innate fears; the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. All other fears are learned. We are called to work out our salvation with fear and trembling; Phil 2:12. In Proverbs and Psalms, we are told that the Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and all true knowledge (Provs 1:7, 9:10; Ps 111:10).
Leader, NOT wanting to disappoint, or upset GOD, is a different FEAR than believing the Father of lies instead of your Father in heaven. It is wise to fear spending eternity separated from the God of the universe- that fear brings us closer to Him now; To know Him and make Him known.
Conduit, WHEN we FAN THE FLAME of the HOLY SPIRIT, this FIRE feeds our confidence- then we can extinguish the ‘fiery darts of fear’, that the enemy is constantly lobbying against God’s chosen! SOLDIER ON and Burn, baby BURN!

One response to “Sept. 18 ”
Amen!
