Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”-John 8:12 ESV

Warrior;

Darkness is the absence of Light, and we are to become light in this ever-darkening world. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. (Dan 12:3). The moon shines because its surface reflects light from the sun. And even though it sometimes seems to shine very brightly, the moon reflects only between 3 and 12 percent of the sunlight that hits it. The perceived brightness of the moon from Earth depends on where the moon is in its orbit around the planet.

Leader, the light that shines from us should be a reflection of the RIGHTEOUSNESS of CHRIST. His LIGHT, was-is-will always be, LOVE; Sacrifice, Self-denial, Service, Humility, Long-suffering. But our perceived brightness will depend on where we are at in relationship to Jesus and His Word, the Bible. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.(Matt 5:13)

Conduit, are you in the RIGHT ORBIT- are you close enough to the source, JESUS? How much do you reflect God? Is only a portion of what God is doing in you- through the HOLY SPIRIT- visible to others? A CONDUIT, is a pass- through vehicle.  God’s light shining in you is to SHARE and SHINE with others! When we become glorified we will be like Christ. In Matthew 13:43 we are old, Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Until that time, we are called to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE being A LIGHT IN the world. Burn, baby burn!
