And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.” –Acts 9:4-6 ESV

Warrior;

We are not to compare ourselves to others, to consider who we are ‘better than’ or who we are ‘not as good as’- we are called to be who God created us to be! In the process of sanctification- molding us to be like Christ- We are called to be both HUMBLE and CONFIDENT in the work of the cross and in the name of Jesus.  To many followers of the risen Christ, this battle can be at worst a misnomer, and at best a constant battle.

Leader, Saul was a proud and confident man who God HUMBLED to use HIM as one of the BOLDEST men to share the gospel.  He went from the TOP in his mind- see Phil 3:4-6- to having to be led by hand and be told what to do for he was blind in all things! Now forward to Acts 26, and SEE, HEAR and FEEL his boldness before a KING who had his life in his hands! What happened to create this undulating line? He learned the KEY in 2 Cor 12:8-9; Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

Conduit, embrace the valley, the fiery-furnace, for it is where God grows those HE wants to use BOLDLY! If you are struggling, you are in good company with people like Moses who spent 2/3 of his life in the desert and Paul, who LOST it all to GAIN IT ALL in ONE greater!
