"Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey."
-1 Sam 15:3 ESV

Warrior;

Jesus said in Luke 6:46, "So why do you keep calling me 'Lord, Lord!' when you don't do what I say? It is impossible to know what God knows and to see what He sees. His ways are perfect. God is the Great I AM; Just, Immutable, Good, Righteous, Perfect, Compassionate, Long-suffering and all other GREAT things! God is looking for people who are WILLING to do HIS WILL! When the Israelites were fleeing from Egypt they were attacked at their weakest point, the rear. See Ex 17:13-16, Num 24:20-25.

In Gen 12:3 God made a promise to His people; I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Not only did Saul disobey God and keep the king alive, BUT obviously some Amelekites escaped because 5 centuries later in the book of Esther (3:1), we hear of the evil of Haman-who plotted to destroy the Jews- the son of Hammedatha the Agagit- most likely a direct descendant of the king.

Conduit, Do you think all God wants are sacrifices—empty rituals just for show? He wants you to listen to him! Plain listening is the thing, not staging a lavish religious production. Not doing what God tells you is far worse than fooling around in the occult. Getting self-important around God is far worse than making deals with your dead ancestors. Because you said No to God’s command, He says No to your kingship. (MSG) Amen, and ouch!!
