For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world –Phil 2:13-15 ESV

Warriors;

Per Bible.org: Page breaks, paragraph shifts and the little explanations, as well as the Chapter and verse numbers where all added long after the God inspired writers were gone to Glory. Stephen Langton, in the 12th century, added what we use today as the chapter divisions. He did this into the Latin Vulgate. These divisions were later transferred to the Hebrew Bible. However manuscripts dating back to the fourth century showed some form of chapter divisions were used. In 1551, Robert Estienne (Stephanus) added verse divisions to his fourth edition of the Greek New Testament. The first translation to employ his versification was the Geneva translation of 1557 (whole Bible, 1560).

Leader, this chapter-Philippians 2, is labeled by the NASB; BE LIKE CHRIST.  He is our example; NO MATTER what is happening to us- Right or Wrong, Good or Bad, Justified or NOT- we are to do it, handle it, and respond to others, in a way that glorifies God.  How do we do this…by NOT BEING LIKE THE WORLD? Grumbling, Arguing, Complaining, Disputing, Murmuring, Without Division, Questioning, Grudging and Contentious Spirit, And Worldly Reasonings. The TIME IS NOW, to stop Condoning our own OFFENSE, while Condemning others and being OFFENDED. (Matt 7:3)

Conduit, Jesus was known as the ‘Man of Sorrows’ (Is 53).  He was beaten, mocked, spit upon, ridiculed, humiliated and ultimately killed in a shameful public way and yet He held His tongue and when He did speak, He said, “Forgive them Father for they know NOT what they do”(Lk 23:34).  In every situation we are either glorifying God or His enemy, the Devil.  There is more glory for God in a relationship where you are being treated poorly and react like Christ than there is in a good relationship where you are nice to each other.  Today be more LIKE CHRIST, than like the world! For the same Spirit that Jesus had, the HOLY SPIRIT, is in you-  ACT AS IF!
