As Charles Spurgeon put it, “Before we argue our case before the Lord it is most becoming to acknowledge that we know him to be supremely great and good, whatever may be the appearance of his providence; this is such a course as every wise man will take who desires to have an answer of peace in the day of trouble. For them it is joy enough that Jehovah is favorable to them; all day long this contents them and enables them with rigor to pursue their pilgrimage. Only a covenant God could look with favor upon men, and those who have known him in that relationship learn to rejoice in him, yea, to walk with him in fellowship, and to continue in communion with him.”

Leader, Is God your portion or even A portion of your JOY and PEACE? Is it enough that GOD has chosen you and you walk with HIM? Do you count it as value- that NO MATTER your struggle today, that God has made a covenant with you; to walk with you and be your God!! In Hebrews 8:10 we are reminded of our Abrahamic covenant; declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Conduit, no matter what your position in life today, no matter the strife or struggle, no matter the ‘height of happiness’- let the assurance that you are in HIS HANDS- be enough! Amen!
