And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. -Eph 4:30-32 ESV

Warrior;

From a biblical perspective, it is fair to define “death” as a “separation.” For example, “spiritual death” is actually a separation spiritually from God, a severing of relationship with God. When Adam sinned, he and all mankind died. (1 Cor 15:22, Rm 5:12) Grieving the Holy Spirit would be anything that would cause a semblance of DEATH instead of LIFE. In other words, believers behaving as though they were separated from God or in fact behaving as the spiritually “dead.” What GRIEVES the HOLY SPIRIT? Keeping your POUND OF FLESH; an unforgiving SPIRIT!

Leader, when we KEEP SCORE, when we keep a record of all wrongs- we are never more like the DEVIL! The Bible describes Satan in three ways: tempter (Matt 4:3), accuser of the brethren (Rev 12:10), father of lies (John 8:44). DAILY, we must LAY DOWN our LIFE and PICK UP OUR CROSS- it is a choice; will we be like Jesus; “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” (Lk 23:34). Or like Satan who constantly reminds us of our PAST;unforgiving! It all depends on WHO’S YOUR DADDY!

Conduit, This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now CHOOSE life, so that you and your children may live. Let go of your POUND OF FLESH, YOUR record of wrong, and FORGIVE others, as your Father in Heaven has forgiven you! Be like JESUS and ABBA, our DADDY! Amen!
