Do you know “IN THAT DAY”? The prophets frequently use “in that day” to describe both impending judgment and the hope of restoration. It shows us the duality of God, this theme of judgment and restoration is a common motif, emphasizing God’s justice and mercy. The phrase “in that day” is a significant eschatological term found throughout the Bible, it appears approximately 253 times. It is often used by the prophets to refer to a future time of divine intervention, judgment, or restoration. It is particularly prevalent in the prophetic books of the Old Testament, as well as in the New Testament, pointing to the fulfillment of God’s promises and the culmination of His redemptive plan.  We must heed the call of the Psalmist, “So teach us to number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12) This is why God tells us to “NUMBER our days”, because of, ‘In that day’.  What if you were NOT prepared for THAT DAY? There are 2 kinds of time in the Bible: Chronos and Kairos.  Chronos is ‘old man time’. This is the ticking of a clock.  However, Kairos is THE moment, A MOMENT, a set aside time, it is an APPOINTED TIME! Chronos counts time, Kairos creates time. We have ALL been placed into a KAIROS.  We were not born for random CHRONOS.  IN THIS DAY we realize we are a divinely engineered instrument\tool of the God of the universe, to be used IN THIS DAY.  

Leader, science is catching up with the Bible. Today science tells us that epigenetic markers can activate or silence genes based on the environment.  Things like; stress, belief, trauma, drama, environmental conditions, but God has been telling us that in His Word for thousands of years. God knows His creation!  Jesus told us, “I know man”.  In John 2 we are at a wedding in Cana.  It is written; Because of the miraculous signs Jesus did in Jerusalem at the Passover celebration, many began to trust in him. But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew all about people. No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart. (John 2:23-25) Long before science affirmed the Bible, God declared to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” (Jeremiah 1:5) You are not an accident of biology; you are an assignment from heaven. You are wired for purpose, built for impact, and positioned for battle for THAT DAY, and for such a TIME AS THIS! And God takes all our trauma, drama, family of origin issues, bad choices and good choices- to form us into the unique creatures we are because soon, IN THAT DAY, will be this day! This is the applicational meaning of Romans 8:28; For GOD causes ALL THINGS to work for the good of those who LOVE HIM and are called according to HIS PURPOSE. Why…. because, IN THAT DAY!

Conduit; God is not only omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent; He is also omnitelic; Everything He does is driven by purpose, design, and intentionality. Every person used by God in the Bible stepped into a KAIROS moment that demanded courage, clarity and obedience.  We are not called to wait for perfect conditions, or perfect knowledge- we are called to FAITH and OBEDIENCE. Esther didn’t choose her moment; Moses didn’t schedule the ‘burning bush’; David didn’t plan or create Goliath. Sociology tells us that humans are meaning-making creatures.  Philosophy tells us that PURPOSE is the engine of action.  Scripture tells us that God “works all things according to the counsel of His will”. Have faith warrior, we are purpose-driven and God-designed because, IN THAT DAY. Biology tells us that life flows through systems; circulatory, respiratory, and neural.  It also tells us that when flow stops, life stops. This is also true Spiritually. You were created to be a FLOW-THROUGH vessel of GOD!  His mercy, His grace, HIS WORD.  IN THAT DAY we are called to keep open the GOD VALVE to let HIS PURPOSE, HIS WORD, HIS WAY to help us so that IN THAT DAY, there will be rejoicing. Today let us have HIS timing, be our timing.  Let His urgency be our urgency. Decide that HIS WAY is our way, it is YAHWEH! LIVE LIKE, this is the day, this is the moment; This is YOUR KAIROS; For such a time as this!  Step into it, because time is running out…IN THAT DAY, look up for our REDEMPTION IS NEAR!
