That evening Jesus’ disciples went down to the shore to wait for him. But as darkness fell and Jesus still hadn’t come back, they got into the boat and headed across the lake toward Capernaum. Soon a gale swept down upon them, and the sea grew very rough. They had rowed three or four miles when suddenly they saw Jesus walking on the water toward the boat. They were terrified, but he called out to them, “Don’t be afraid. I am here!” Then they were eager to let him in the boat, and immediately they arrived at their destination! – John 6:16-21 NLT

When you are a child of the Risen Lord, then FEAR is nothing more than an acronym; False Evidence Appearing Real. The only power fear has is when we take our eyes and focus off of God and put it on that which we fear! There are approximately 365 times in the Bible where God tells us to FEAR NOT, DO NOT FEAR…for I AM with YOU!
Leader, God knows this is one of the enemies weapons formed against us. The devil is the sinister minister of FEAR! We must trust that our God is bigger than that which torments us! We must create a Mantra comprised of God’s WORD, to RE-MIND ourselves in times of turbulence; Greater is He who is in me than He who is in the world(1 John 4:4), in my weakness His strength is perfected(2 Cor 12:9), I must decrease so He can increase! (John 3:30)
Conduit, Fear is the opposite of Faith! 2 Tim 1:7 AMP REMINDS US; For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. Our Savior is not in a man, or in a Country – our HOPE is in an intimate relationship with Jesus, this is what Saves. RE-MEMBER who you are in Christ Jesus because SOON we will arrive at our destination!

Faith comes from Hope. Now it’s not a word play but if you have no hope you have no Faith and if you have no Faith you have no Hope. We tend to forget that the Gospel is not complicated. As a matter of fact it’s so simple that we can screw it up in our daily lives and given the weakness of the flesh we probably will screw it up. But, if ye but have the Faith of a mustard seed you can overcome the “Natural Man” and experience a real tangible result. That is despite all of the problems in your life you WILL experience a tremendous blessing in the increase of your Faith.
Try reading Psalm 91 every morning and do it prayerfully.
Don’t leave your seat in the presence of God one minute before the miracle happens because it WILL HAPPEN.
